Snacks are a must at after-hours parties. We had so much fun sponsoring the recent Lone Star Late Night party (in conjunction with United Fresh in Dallas) with our friends from Fox Packaging and Frontera Produce and knew we needed to provide edible favors to fulfill that snack requirement. The one drawback to tasty takeaways at late night events? Sometimes party-goers head to the after-after party without grabbing their gift. (more…)

During our year-long commitment to raising funds for the Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools initiative in Texas, a light bulb went off – this program is a guaranteed consumption builder for fresh produce. Rather than just a donation (though it’s still certainly philanthropic), this is an affordable investment in our nation’s future health – and our industry’s future growth.
Case in point: We recently learned that 53 salad bars have been donated to schools throughout the Cincinnati, OH school district. As a result, the district more than doubled their annual fresh produce spend. DOUBLED. We’d say that doubling the purchase of our products constitutes an “investment” more than just a donation, wouldn’t you? (more…)

At every event, we’re on high alert. Our eyes, ears, minds and camera lenses are ALWAYS open. For years, we’ve reported on what “blew us away”. The sights, sounds, smells and tastes of each fresh produce industry event continue to impact us – and with the growth of our team and co-location with FMI and AMI, experiencing these events with fresh perspectives in tow opens all of our eyes (ears, minds and camera lenses) to MORE!
