Mack’s nostalgic story about blackberries inspired us. Actually, that’s not entirely true.  It wasn’t really inspiration that caused us to bake this office-made blackberry crumble.  It was pure, unadulterated CRAVING.  After reading Mack’s post and the recipe that her Mom made on special occasions for her Dad, blackberry crumble was all I could talk about – and all our team could think about.  So, in the best interest of our paying clients and to restore the calm, we decided to whip one up for this episode of Office Eats. On a rainy day in Dallas (wishful thinking!), there is nothing like the smell of something cookin’ in the crock-pot.  At DMA, we LOVE our crock-pot and have been dabbling in the art of “throw a little of this and a little of that” with ours for years to experiment with slow cooking techniques.

There is nothing better than the smell of something cooking throughout the office (minus burnt popcorn).  At DMA, we’ve been known to follow our noses and the smell of bacon up three floors to find the source.

Now that we’ve moved into our new digs, we have a brand new play place for cooking; our very own kitchen.  Watch out, Core readers!  We’re armed and ready with new appliances, utensils and ideas to prepare and share inspired lunches and snacks for the office eater right here at DMA.  Who says that Guy Fieri has the best job on Earth?  We have and will continue to cook and consume our very own creations right here in our office – and now we’ll document it all.  Successes, failures, dishes that pop and those that flop – we will regularly report on our Office Eats.
