Marketing has been a part of me since I was a child. I remember watching Diane Keaton in the movie “Baby Boom” and desperately wishing that I too would grow up to be a big and powerful advertising executive some day. I can remember very vividly setting up my “office” with junk drawer gems that I was able to find in our house along with old pens and pads of paper. Sketching advertisement concepts for Nike was a fun past time that I often enjoyed, especially when my passion for playing basketball and wearing Air Jordan’s exploded.
I am a newcomer to the fresh produce industry. Over the past decade, I have been fortunate to work for both a large multi-national corporation and a marketing communications agency where I was able to develop and implement a variety of marketing initiatives ranging in different sizes and scopes. Working for DMA Solutions, I look forward to the day to day creativity and planning of promotions that we develop surrounding fresh produce for our company and especially for our clients.
Marketing is not only my job, but also one of my great passions. Now that I’ve gotten my feet wet in the fresh produce industry, I see so many marketing opportunities, it makes me want to do a tap dance.
