So we can finally say we did it. As an industry we raised nearly $4.8 million dollars in capital campaign support for PMA’s Foundation for Industry Talent (PMA FIT) in three short years, all while overcoming a spinach crisis, a tomato crisis, an unprecedented surge in fuel prices and a severe economic downturn. We’ve proven to ourselves and those around us that we believe in PMA FIT’s efforts to recruit and retain talented individuals who will one day be our companies’ leaders. I don’t know about you, but I feel blessed to work in an industry that is investing in, supporting, and working for the advancement of its PEOPLE. (more…)

Armed with a Rand McNally Road Atlas, MapQuest printouts, and a GPS system, I set out for San Antonio last week with Morgan, a former DMA Solutions intern and fellow Career Pathways scholar. Even for just a three hour drive, I’m a little directionally challenged, so I felt that numerous navigational tools were vital to the success of our trip.
