I love January, but February can be a real drag. January opens the door to a fresh new year with endless possibilities for me to establish new goals both personally and professionally. Once February arrives, I often find myself overwhelmed and disappointed after allocating too little time to kick-start my action plans that turn my goals into reality. Each year at PMA Fresh Summit, the DMA Solutions team takes to the show floor like hungry wolves looking for their next meal. And from the sound of it, we don’t seem to be alone. As marketers, we appreciate a freebie every now and then, whether it is presented in the form of fresh cut apples with gooey caramel sauce or an amazing marketing exposure opportunity, we’re all in.
This year at the big show, PMA and Yerecic Label offer exhibitors the chance to have key buyers, industry experts and young consumers “taste, touch, smell and experience their product during the expo” via the Sensory Experience Contest!
We said a very long time ago that the face-to-face component of tradeshows and conferences is invaluable and the major reason that these experiential events would remain major marketing players, even in tough times and as technologies advance.
The recent PMA Foodservice Conference was overflowing with these sensory experiences and we ate/drank/breathed it all in – not letting a single sense go unquenched.
